PUMP PROTECTION will engage during a filtration cycle, if a Low Flow condition is detected by the Pool Lab system. It will automatically shut off the filtration pump if the Low Flow persists over the value set at PUMP PROT’N (value is time designated in minutes). This is to protect the pump from running dry and overheating. The default value is 0 minutes i.e. PUMP PROTECTION is off. It can be set from 0 to 60 (0 will disengage the function). To adjust you first need to change the AUTHORITY level to INST (see AUTHORITY). Then highlight PUMP PROT’N with the asterisk and press the VIEW button The value will begin flashing and can be adjusted with the UP and DOWN buttons. Lock in the desired value by pressing the VIEW button.
To return to the MAIN MENU menu, press the BACK button.
